Ratification Vote Passes

Governor Murphy shared key updates with Local 94 and other NJ AFL-CIO union leaders during a private call, including concerns over unemployment server overloads and his commitment to protecting union members' jobs during the pandemic.

The AFL-CIO and its 55 member unions representing 12.5 million workers have outlined demands for federal, state, and local governments regarding worker safety, paid leave, health care access, and economic support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The NJ State AFL-CIO condemns retaliation against health care workers for using personal protective equipment they acquired themselves or for speaking up on behalf of patients during the PPE shortage.

The NJ State AFL-CIO praised Gov. Murphy's selection of AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka to serve on the COVID-19 Re-Start and Recovery Commission. NJ AFL-CIO President Charles Wowkanech called the appointment peerless.

For the 10th year IBEW LU 94 made a donation to the Rise Pantry of Hightstown. This year’s donation was the largest to date which will provide food for approximately 600 local families. Thank you to the members who brought can goods or made donations which made today’s delivery possible.
